Terra: Design Center/Residence
This project was a mixed-use occupancy, with an accessible design center promoting sustainable materials and processes located on the bottom floor and office spaces on the top floor. The residential area was to be used as a showroom for clients, in addition to a place where the owner could stay when in town.
Overall, the concept took inspiration from the fractals seen in peacock feathers. Therefore, organic shapes and lively colors were incorporated throughout the space. Predominantly sustainable materials were used. ADA and general building codes were applied to this design.
